Text Alignment in Word

Depending on the type of document you are creating you may need to change the alignment of text. You may also need to have different alignments within the document (ie. you want titles centered).

There are four different alignment option: left align, right align, center, justified. Left align is the default settings and used for most documents. It means the jagged edge will be on the right side of the page and the left side will all lign-up. Right align is the opposite. Center means all the text is equal distance from both sides of the paper and both edges are jagged. Justified means the text ligns-up on both sides of the page like a newspaper article.

Use alignments to format your text the way you like it. Shake it to the left, shake it to the right!
