Creating Lists in Word - Image Tutorial

Creating lists in Word can be very useful. There are two different lists to use: bulleted lists and numbered lists.


How to Create a Bulleted List in Word:

  1. Open Microsoft Word.(How do I open microsoft word?)
  2. Type in "My top 10 CDs in no particular order".



  3. Press "Enter" on the keyboard.
  4. Click on the bulleted list symbol on the formatting toolbar.



  5. Or
  6. Click "Format" on the menu bar.



  7. Click "Bullets and Numbering...".



  8. Click on the bullet style you want.
  9. Click Ok.



  10. Type in the name of a CD.
  11. Press ENTER.



  12. Type in the name of a CD.
  13. Press ENTER.



  14. Type in the name of a CD.
  15. Repeat until you have 10.
  16. Press ENTER twice.
How to Create a Numbered List in Word:
  1. Open Microsoft Word.(How do I open microsoft word?)
  2. Type in "My top 10 CDs in order".



  3. Press "Enter" on the keyboard.
  4. Click on the numbered list symbol on the formatting toolbar.



  5. Or
  6. Click "Format" on the menu bar.



  7. Click "Bullets and Numbering...".



  8. Click on the "Numbered" tab.
  9. Click on the number style you want.
  10. Click Ok.



  11. Type in the name of a CD.
  12. Press ENTER.



  13. Type in the name of a CD.
  14. Press ENTER.



  15. Type in the name of a CD.
  16. Repeat until you have 10.
  17. Press ENTER twice.
