We use bullets to improve readability and organize ideas and content. It is very helpful in maintaining the interest of the reader or for step-by-step instructions.
Technically, there are two different list options: bulleted and
numbered. A bullet is a symbol or image. Bulleted lists
show that text is related but order is unimportant. Numbered
lists are used to show the order of items(step-by-step
directions) or a selection is required (ie. questionnaires).
Reasons
to use Bulleted and Numbered Lists in Word:
To organize text in related categories and increase readability
To create step-by-step instructions
To list your top 10 CDs
Etc...
Use lists. I'm sorry that is all I have. Just use them.
