Text alignment is not as useful in Excel as it is in Word. The most useful alignment in Excel is centering text.
There are four different alignment option: left align, right align,
center, justified.
I think we will concentrate on centering and a special button called
merge and center. You can still use the other alignment
options but they aren't that useful for text.
I will show you cell alignment in a later lesson. Now that is something.
Use center and/or center and merge for your headers or sub-titles or footers or any other text you see fit.
Click on the right align symbol on the formatting toolbar.
Or (instead of step 4)
Click Format on the menu bar.
Click Cells.
Select the "Alignment" tab.
Click on the arrow for horizontal alignment.
Click on "Right".
Click OK.
You now have all the essential skills to format text in Excel if you have
completed the previous three lessons. Congratulations!
