Making great looking spreadsheets require you to format
text in excel. It is very simple but useful. If you know
how to format text in other programs such as Word, you will already
know how to do most of the formatting in Excel.
Learn how to underline,
bold, italicize, change
font size, and change font color
of text.
Let's learn how to format text in Microsoft Excel.
Click the cell with the text you would like to change font face.
Click on the arrow beside the "Times New Roman" (current
font face) on the formatting toolbar. Select the new font.

Click Format on the menu bar.
Click Cells.
The format cells window will pop-up. Click the "Font" tab.
Click the desired font face. We will choose "Arial".
Click OK.
Alright, so now you basically know how to format text in any microsoft program
and many other programs. There is no reason to have sloppy looking documents
anymore.
