  • To change the font or other properties of (text/images/tables)
  • Only printing certain text on a website or in a document
  • Etc...
How to select/highlight text:
Selecting/Highlighting text is very simple and easy but it does take some practice to select the right text sometimes. We will use what is called "click and drag". Let's give it a try.
  1. Left click in front of the text below and hold the left mouse button.

  2. While holding the left click button, drag the mouse across the text.

  3. Once the text is all highlighted, release the left mouse button.

  4. "This looks like the perfect text to highlight. Someone should probably try it. Stop Here"

  5. Follow copy and paste procedures.
Only printing certain text on a website or in a document:
*I am up to my old tricks again. Guess what? No printer friendly version of this tutorial. You will have to highlight the parts you want then only print that text.
  1. Go to the start of the tutorial and "left click on the mouse button and hold".

  2. Drag down to the bottom of the tutorial (stop when you no longer want to print that text).

  3. Release the left mouse button.
  4. Click on File (at the top left of the screen - on the menu bar).

  5. Click on Print.

  6. Click in the circle beside the "Selection option".

  7. Click the Print button.
