To transfer pictures from a digital camera to
your computer using cut, copy & paste
Plug the USB cable from the camera into the computer or put the camera
memory card directly into the computer (if your computer is compatible).
When the window pops up, click view files. (If the window doesn't
pop up, open my computer and continue the instructions)
Find the folder with the pictures in it by navigating the folders.
Click on the folder with the pictures in it that you would like to
put on your computer.
Click on the word "Edit" on the menu.
Now you have a decision to make. Would you like to leave the pictures
on the camera or would you like to keep them and just copy the pictures
to the computer.
To leave the pictures on the camera, click "Copy" in the Edit menu.
To move them off the camera onto the computer, click "Cut".
Now we have to decide where to put them. I suggest you make a new
folder called "Pictures" on the computer C: drive. How do I create a
folder
Now that the folder has been created. Click on "Edit" in the menu
bar and "Paste" the pictures.
